I worked in the hair industry for 10 years as a licensed barber before he decided to open his own barbershop at the age of 33. I've managed other barbershops and helped build the clientele and experience. I've competed in haircutting competitions and won awards. Most known for my versatility and eye for details. I've worked with the Robert craft group and even cut Patriots players. I love to give back to the community and have done give backs where I and others have cut people who can't make it in to barbershops for services. I love this industry and now I want to have a team of my own that I can help reach the same goals and even elevate them to higher levels

I started cutting hair around 18 when my dad was too busy and couldn't cut me or my brother's hair. My dad actually wanted to be a hairstylist when he was young but felt embarrassment when he found out it was all women. But my dad continued and eventually would just cut me and my brother growing up. I eventually started & tried to cut my brother's hair & then soon after little improvement, started cutting my little cousins hair for practice. As time passed, Covid was my turning point to whether or not cutting hair was for me and i've loved it ever since. My experience at Elevate Hair & Shave barbershop was nothing but positivity & patience. We opened during covid so clientele was slow, but I knew with due time, I would get to where I am today with more to come.

Growing up I watched my grandfather, he worked many jobs. He was a fire fighter and a barber which was always my favorite to watch. We had a barbershop set up in the basement. My family and his friends would come by for haircuts where I was always watching him and helping. The older I got I began to cut some of my friends and I knew I wanted to be a barber. My grandpa said it was a great job and I could still be an EMT as well. Covid hit, I was getting haircuts from a barber friend of mine. She talked me into going to barber school and that happened immediately. My grandfather was very happy and helped me every step along the way. He was my first client and the model for my exam. I've been licensed for a year now and I started in my friends shop. I learned a lot from there.
